£50K preservation repair of prominent high street clock tower in Alloa town centre for national pharmacy chain.
The works involved timber preservation repairs to restore the run down clock face to its original condition and were required to solve a 10 year water ingress problem. As a consequence of the long term water ingress roof joists, gutter decks, stonework, and timber finishes had all suffered significant water damage. The premises was occupied and continued to trade throughout the duration of the works.
